banner-1.jpgThe Denim Group, a San Antonio IT company that develops secure software and helps organizations eliminate software risks, today announced that it has launched ThreadStrong, a new self-paced online training curriculum to teach developers how to build security into their applications.

This reminds me of that teaching a man to fish proverb. Not this one, though: “Sell a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man how to fish, you ruin a wonderful business opportunity.”

Check out the video of ThreadStrong:

ThreadStrong helps developers meet compliance regulations. The courses range from one to four hours and there are testing and reporting features to let managers measure and report to auditors on employee progress.

“There’s a growing need for application security training and our experts who created ThreadStrong have trained thousands of developers worldwide,” Dan Cornell, principal of Denim Group, said in a release. “ThreadStrong also ensures that team members know about new threats and attack techniques by providing regular updates to course content to keep employees current on industry issues.”
